BLOWER MOTOR

Blower motor or better named motor and blower assembly. This is the housing either below your coil (blow thru design) or above it (draw thru design) that draws air through your return air intake (filter area) goes across the coil and out the supply grills. The motor can stop functioning due to bearing failure, electrical failure or the blower wheel can become unbalanced. Fan coil blower motors are unique as they are multispeed usually with 3 fan speeds connected. Low Medium High.

Common blower housing.

Burnt out motor due to lack of maintenance and filter changes. Dust build up choked the air flow causing motor to overheat.
